Advanced Search

Advanced Search provides additional options to narrow the search results.

The left side of the screen allows you to search for specific types of results.

The right side of the screen provides various options for the text to search for.

See the section called “Search Results” for an explanation of the Search Results.

Search Results

The Search Results shows a list of the matching results, sorted with the best match first. The Rank column shows this order. The Score column indicates how good the match for that element is. Higher numbers are better.

The Text column shows an excerpt of the text for that element, with the search terms highlighted. This can aid in finding the desired result.

For any result, select the Name field to navigate to the page for that element, or the Study Unit field to navigate to the page for that Study Unit. Some types of results (such as Concepts) may not be specific to a Study, and will not have a Study Unit.

Results that are Data Variables may be added to the selected Basket. See the Select Variable page for information about Baskets.
